A preliminary arboricultural assessment report is your first step and should be conducted as part of development's site assessment. It is done at the pre-design stage and identifies opportunities and constraints to guide your design. We allocates a retention value and calculates the

protection zone and structural root zone for each tree on and surrounding the site that may be impacted.

Where trees are impacted by a proposal, a Council will generally require an Arboricultural Impact Assessment report to be included as part of your development application. It is usually the main report that is required by consent authorities. It determines how a tree may be impacted by the development works and includes recommendations for managing this. Any tree removal recommendations are be based on the impacts to the tree from the proposal. Get in contact for an initial consultation.

At determination consent authorities will generally condition tree protection measures or require a tree protection plan. Our consultants provide tree protection methodologies and specifications that will meet or exceed these criteria while remaining easy to interpret and implement on your site.

The development consent may require arboricultural monitoring and

certification for specified parts of the project. We'll work with you to develop a schedule that ensure your development stays compliant and on schedule.

Where a tree pruning application is required we can assist in the preparation of tree pruning and removal permits as required by our local council Development Control Plan.

Often the installation of hoarding, scaffolding, or work zones in  not covered under a DA and requires a separate approval or application. We can assist you in traversing Local Government requirements and applications.

Our pruning specifications meet Council requirements, where we detail the pruning work required, including branch sizes and locations, with the percentage of the crown to be removed. We are able to project manage where specialised 3D scanning or Lidar meshes are required.
