If a potential major, internal structural defect is found in your tree, we may recommend advanced assessment including, internal diagnostic testing or ariel inspection.
Our Arborists are qualified in industry recognised risk assessment methods including QTRA, VALID, and TRAQ. A tree risk assessment report determines the level of risk posed by a tree over a specific timeframe. Such a report may be required by some councils as part of a tree removal/pruning application. Let us help with this common and complex issue
Some Councils allow for resident to apply to pruning their neighbours trees. Where this is not available the NSW Land and Environment Court may make orders to remedy, restrain or prevent damage to property or to prevent injury to any person when damage or injury arises from a tree that is situated on adjoining land. We assist landowner in getting the information that they need and providing tree advise.
Part 2A of the Trees Act enables people who consider that their neighbour’s hedge (which comprises two or more trees) severely obstructs sunlight to a window of their dwelling or a view from their dwelling to make an application to the LEC. Part 2A does not apply to single trees obstructing sunlight to a window of their dwelling or a view from their dwelling. Get in touch to organise for a consultation and site inspection.
The Trees Act was designed to provide a simple, inexpensive and accessible process for resolving neighbour disputes about trees. Get in touch for an initial consultation regarding our Expert Witness services.
